Charity: Memeza Shout Crime Prevention
Elmarie holds a Post Graduate in Project Management, NQF Level 8. She also has 14 years’ experience as Executive Manager of Customer Operations and Sales Channels. Her has expertise in developing client services and streamlining delivery of products/ services in Telecommunications industry.
She will be working as a Programme and Project Manager for Memeza Shout Crime Prevention. She has a passion for the cause of this organisation as she lost her sister in a violent attack.
Memeza Shout Crime Preventions contributes towards the prevention and reduction of crime and violence against all vulnerable people in South Africa.
They promote community safety through ensuring participation and cohesion of communities. Their overall strategy is aimed at supporting government’s on-going efforts to build better and safer communities.
In short, they are about bringing people together and mobilising communities in time of need through the use of safety devices and systems.
Elmarie will be spearheading their education project with the planning and implementation of schools roll out plan of alarm systems for 270 schools (4,000 matric classrooms) for learners receiving iPads in the ‘Future Schools’ project.
She will also be managing the Memeza Project roll out in Diepsloot and Tembisa. This also includes creating jobs within the community of installers, resellers and maintenance officers.
Elmarie will also be working on a Social Development Project for Old Age Homes, giving them access to SAPS and potentially expanding the service to Ambulance and Fire Services.
