Charity: APD Free State

Jessica Vosloo (25), joined the Vodacom Change the World programme as a volunteer for APD Free State, hoping to raise public awareness of the issues around health and disability and explore ways in which social media and information technology can be adapted and utilised to accommodate persons with disabilities and assist their integration into social and occupational spheres. “I have never experienced the power of change through volunteerism like this, it is another kind of job satisfaction altogether, I can really invest my everything in others because someone decided to invest in me,” - Vosloo.
