Shortly:

I am an accomplished journalist - having headed Oprah Magazine’s Features Department as Features Editor. I have chosen LEAP Science and Maths School as my Vodacom Change the World NPO. During my time with LEAP, I aspire to be part of a team that creates an empowering learning environment for young people and have taken up the role of LEAP’s public relations, marketing and fundraising specialist.

My Projects:

  • Fortunate 500 Club - LEAP’s bold attempt to get donations above R500 thousand that will be matched by those of ELMA Philanthropies Services

My Background:

  • Accomplished Journalist
  • Hold national diplomas in both journalism and public relations
  • Headed up O Magazine’s Features Department as its Features Editor
  • Have been an anchor and producer for eTV Sunrise and eNews Channel Africa (eNCA)
  • Worked for SABC and True Love magazine 
  •  Have been a volunteer, mentor, trainer and facilitator for the Spirit of Youth programme, run by the Gordon Institute of Business Science (GIBS)
